Justification by faith

Here’s a succinct explanation of the difference between Catholic and generic Protestant views on justification.* It’s a must read, if only to dispel a lot of the myths that remain about Catholics and “salvation by works.”

* And the author also makes it clear that he is just representing a common, generic Protestant position. There are other Protestant positions, many of which are quite a bit closer to the Catholic one. But, these positions are in the distinct minority.
