Caught in the middle

In news reports about the unending conflict between Jews and Muslims in the Holy Land, we scarcely hear that there’s a group suffering far more than either one.

Do Arab Christians even have a future? Even if Bob Novak doesn’t have all his facts exactly right, he’s made a very good case that we ought to be assisting and praying for our brothers and sisters in Israel. I don’t remember all the exact statistics, but the percentage of Christians in the Holy Land has fallen from around 10% of the population before 1948 to less than 2% today, due to many factors, not the least of which being a low birth rate and massive emigration. That small percentage is likely to fall further and futher.
